Console Wars of the Past

If you haven't already seen Ron and Ray's Console Wars of the Past series, on youtube, you're really missing out.

They mesh video game and video game console reviews along with a mega ton of history, facts, and lots of neat little trivia.

They're aiming to put you in the drivers seat. A sort of Toad's Wild Ride to create an experience of living through that period of time.

They cover video game era's/generations

They just started, what will probably be there most popular set of videos:The 16-bit era which include the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo.

Here's the first video introducing it.

Ugh Family

I love my family, and always wanted a great relationship with my parents. I am lucky enough to have good relationships with my siblings but my parents are a different story.

They are so difficult. Why can't people stop pushing themselves on others? I mean, with as much as each of us already have to deal with in life, how could they WANT that? It's more work for them, and it's a pain for me.

I know the solutions, but unfortunately it's distancing myself from them.

Sorry, I'm a little frustrated right now. :D

New Conquer, Old haunt

I haven't played Conquer Online for like over 3 years now. I downloaded the game and was pleasantly surprised to see a spiffy new interface and hear cool music. On top of that, my level 85 archer was there, w00t!

Alas, upon loading it up, the game is pretty much the same. There is a few new options. I see one for donating money to the kingdom to increase a ranking from Knight up to King and it says it will increase your "otency" LOL. Not sure what it actually does for your character, and I see something for apprentice contributions, and a couple other options.

There's no new world maps in all these years. They need new maps and to add a bunch of quests which are pretty much non-existent right now.

Well, I may use it as another diversion this summer. Maybe I'll make a little game out of trying to be the number 1 archer on the website ranking board.

Twitter Avatar Contest: Round #1

Okay, so I can't decide on a good picture. Really I dislike 99.9% of all pictures of myself. I threw myself out of the factor and decided to do a little picture contest for my twitter account.

There are 2 different "sets" each set has 5 photos. There are a total of 10 photos for you to look at.

I'm numbering each photo. To vote, either leave a comment, on this post, or twitter me with "Twitter avatar contest: (and the number of your choice)"

Back from vacation.

Spent 5 days in Pa with the other team members of New Gen Gamers. We worked on a site redesign and had a lot of fun.

I joined them for the weekly podcast about Leonardo Dicaprio's involvement in a movie about the founder of Atari.

good times.

Optimized Pictures Pain

I can't believe the difficulty I'm having optimizing the DS-licious.tv title for different video communities. Bleh.
